Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharma is a 4 years undergraduate degree course that can be pursued after clearing class 12 board exams. As a pre-requisite for making a career as a pharmacist, it is necessary to have prior knowledge of Science and its related subjects as it deals with the process and methods of drug preparation and medicine dispensing. The basic B Pharmacy eligibility is that students who cleared the Class 12 board exam with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics along with 40% aggregate marks or equivalent are eligible and can apply for the B Pharmacy course.

The degree is the basic prerequisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist in many countries and its about understanding the properties and impacts of medicines and developing the skills required to counsel patients about their use, pharmacists have the opportunity to improve health and even save lives.
